It has influences that came from other forms but is most particularly associated with rock and roll and alternative music.  Upon its arrival in the limelight during the 60’s, The Rolling Stone; an English rock band, formed in London in April 1962, ever since dominated the scene and created a name for itself.  But the group was not alone; along side with them was the emergence of another English rock band called the Beatles; which on the other hand paved its way to the limelight from playing at gigs across the United Kingdom.
