With the beat that comes along with Hip Hop as a listener you can’t escape the fact that you feel a certain grove whenever the song hits your ears.
With the emergence of Hip Hop music comes the dawn of Hip Hop dancing, you’ve probably got a glimpse of the exhilarating dance moves by Michael Jackson when he entered the limelight in the 80′s, where the swagger of his hips makes you feel the essence of his music.  You can say that you can still feel it today but nothing comes close to what Hip Hop can make out of you. You’ve probably seen African-Americans dancing to the groove of the music in your lifetime.
But that is nothing but a misconception these days, hip hop is not totally exclusive for the African-American people. With the help of technology and the entertainment industry, the groove spread throughout America and to the rest of the world.

Proof that dancing to the beat ain’t just for the ears of the west since the orient has already adapted to the beat and is making a war of their own, making hip hop dance a worldwide phenomenon. 

The Clothing of Hip Hop Dance

Last 2008, Randy Jackson was able to produce in cooperation with CBN; America’s Best Dance Crew. With the vibe that the show made, dance crews were on a roll rehearsing to make it on the audition of the said show.

To the shows amazement, they were shocked to see not only black and white people falling in line on the streets for their auditions, they were shocked to see Asians, Hispanics everywhere.

With the emergence of this, the fashion statement was also a major part of the scheme. More than just dance, you are what you wear when it comes to dance.

The way you choose your clothes would greatly determine your ability to move and do the groove on the dance floor.
 
Choosing the Song

 
When choosing the song for a dance battle, most dance crews usually want the best of both worlds.  There lies a need for every dance to portray the feel of the song and to deliver that rush of awe and excitement with every move.

Even though the moves depends solely on the choreography, the song or songs chosen to be part of the dance still play a major part since it is the one that directs the vibe and the whole crew.

It provides them with the beat they’ll need for the dance and it fuel’s them with the vigor needed. It is basically dancing with the beat, where a unity of the song and dance should take place.
 
The ingredient for them to portray both dance and music to its audience.
