At the start of the summer you might be listening to Nicki Minaj’s Super Bass, LMFAO’s party anthem etc etc. But let’s take a look at the charts on who’s who for the first half of the year in 2011.
As we look into Billboard’s top selling R&B and Hip hop albums, it’s a surprise that Lil Wayne is catching fire; with his album “Tha Carter IV”.
The album includes Lil Wayne’s new single entitled How to Love.
The 2nd in the ranks are not new in the limelight, for years Jay-z is still enjoying the ranks in billboard with his album “Watch the Throne” in collaboration with Kanye West.
Third place belongs to Beyonce and her new album 4 which is basically her fourth studio album. Fourth place goes to the GAME with his album entitled R.E.D with the single The City.
The rest of the charts feature some new artists in the limelight like Kelly Rowland and Nicki Minaj,Jill Scott and former lovers Rihanna and Chris Brown.

With the emergence of Apple and Itunes in the industry and in the web and being awarded as the world’s most trusted brand, it was not a surprise that every enterprise would want to put it’s products in it; from language lessons, to sermons, seminars, apps, movies and music.
With the stint in town, every person who possibly owns an Ipod has to pay a price to put in some good old music into his mp3.
And with the economy falling every quarter we want something that’s free every now and then so we as music lovers we are in search of sites on the web that can get us that free music.
Even though Bittorrent, Utorrent, Vuze and other torrent engines are on the loose, some bands don’t mind putting up websites where they offer their music for free and unlike the torrent engines that some of us use its certainly free of piracy; an indication that you can still enjoy clean and free high quality music.
