What is R&B? ( Hip Hop Songs, Hip Hop Radio)
Rhythm and Blues as we all know it is a a genre of popular African American music that originated in the 1940s. The term was originally used by record companies to describe recordings marketed predominantly to urban African Americans, at a time when “urbane, rocking, jazz based music with a heavy, insistent beat” was becoming more popular. The meaning of R&B changed arbitrarily from the 1950′s up to now.Ever since the 50’s drew to a close, the role of R&B became of great help to the development of rock and roll, R&B is defined as music styles that are composed and incorporated electronic blues, gospel and soul music. Druing the 80’s, a new movement took place and R&B developed itself again, with a new main as Contemporary R&B.

The third in the list goes to Brian Mcknight with his new single Fall 5.0 from the album “JUST ME.” The fourth and fifth place goes to LMFAO’s Party Anthem and Isaac Carree’s In the Middle, respectively.
Hip Hop Radio
With the dawn of the IPod in the 21st century, it made me think if what would ever happen to the local radio station that is supposed to be the one who plays your favorite songs and keep you updated with the recent events that are happening in the industry. Our primary concern is that as listeners what will happen to the hip hop radio stations, would they be left in the open hanging?
Or would its listeners still show some support? Good news is the radio industry never died because up to now, the radio stations and the DJ’s that we look up to are still on air.
Not only that they still have regular programs on air, they are also available online, with radio stations such as Smoothbeats, Dirty South, Dawgclan Network, Blackbeats and many more.
