Rhythm and Blues or as most people would call it – R&B; it is a genre of African-American music that started on 1940. R&B is easily recognized compared to Hip Hop primarily because of the soft feel that its lyrics and music gives. It is composed of different styles, beats, vocals and attitudes. The most creative artist with his/her way of writing and singing music is usually the one that lasts longer in the limelight.
R&B is a conglomerate of musical elements mixed into one song; such elements include gospel, hollers, work songs and prison songs.
For some on other hand, adopt their form of R&B from rock, soul, jazz, and funk.
